Grimsby Philharmonic Society and Grimsby Bach Choir will be joining forces in April 2011 to sing one of the most awe inspiring works in the choral repertoire – Verdi’s Requiem. This monumental piece of music was intended by the composer to be performed on a grand scale and the combined choir and a 48-strong orchestra will be on the stage of the Grimsby Central Hall on 16th April 2011.

A joint concert with 'Kammerchor Oberpleis e.V. Konigswinter'.  Will include works from  Rutter - Requiem and Bernstein's Chichester Psalms.  Our conductor: Susan Hollingworth with the Eastern Sinfonia orchestra.
