An old friend comes back to Grimsby on Saturday 24 April when the Phil will present Handel’s Messiah. Although the society has sung this work at regular intervals over the years, each concert offers the opportunity for different interpretation of this well-known oratorio.
Amongst the soloists this time is the soprano Rachael Robinson, who hails from Grimsby and was taught for many years by highly respected Tetney-based singing teacher Pat Blowers. She is presently studying at the renowned Guildhall School of Music in London and is looking forward immensely to performing again in her home town.
