On Saturday 5th June members and supporters of the Phil came together for a Garden Party at the home of Chris and Dave Pritchard in Ashby-cum-Fenby.
The purpose of the event was twofold; firstly to raise funds towards the cost of running the society and secondly to provide a rare chance for members to relax and chat over a cup of coffee whilst browsing the well-stocked stalls for a bargain or two. Books, bric-a-brac, cakes and a whole pot-pourri of items were on offer and the weather was kind, with warm sunshine and a gentle breeze.

Special thanks to all those who provide the stalls and refreshments and of course to Chris and Dave for the use of their lovely house and garden. Something in the order of £500 was raised, which is sure to bring a smile to the treasurer’s face ahead of the approaching end of the Phil’s season and the Annual general meeting.
